Swarovski VPA Variable Phone Adapter

For iOS or Android: the VPA is a variable phone adapter, a flexible all-rounder that is compatible with most smartphones on the market.

The adapter quickly and easily connects SWAROVSKI OPTIK spotting scopes and binoculars with your phone to create a super telephoto lens, allowing you to dive into the amazing world of digiscoping. The convenient way to capture unique observations and detailed close-ups.

Attaching the VPA is incredibly easy. Use the clamps to adjust the width and height of the adapter to the size of your smartphone and the position of the camera. Three different adapter rings are available for connecting to your SWAROVSKI OPTIK binoculars and spotting scopes. This is done by attaching the correct ring to the corresponding eyepiece cup in the screwed-in position. No special tools are needed. The anthracite-colored adapter is light yet rugged thanks to the use of fiberglass-reinforced plastic.

Flexible combination options

Current Samsung, Huawei, and iPhone* models (not iPhone 4!) and most HTC, LG, and Google Phone models are compatible. Use the diagram to check the compatibility of particular smartphones – it shows the smartphone’s maximum and minimum height and width as well as the appropriate camera position.

The following binoculars and spotting scopes can be connected to smartphones using the VPA: CL Companion, EL Family (32, 42, 50), EL Range, SLC Family (42, 56), BTX, ATX/STX, ATS/STS, ATM/STM, and STR. All the phone’s operating features are accessible while using the VPA.
